Fresh Seasons – Revisited

Date May 12, 2009

Several weeks ago I wrote about my visit to Fresh Seasons, the new store in Victoria, where I live. My first impression was that it was fantastic.

I was going to write that same week, but thought I’d wait to see if the store could sustain those good feelings. In short, they have.

The store still looks great. When I walk in, the fruits, vegetables, fresh bread, and flowers all look and smell wonderful. The store is very clean and well-staffed. I’ve never had more than one person in front of me in line at the store.

This past week, I went to buy some spaetzle. They didn’t have any, but when I asked a worker there, he didn’t just tell me he didn’t know, or say know, he found a manager and asked and the manager then told me they didn’t have it, but that he would order some for me and make sure they kept it in stock.

As someone who works on user experiences I am pleased to say that the user experience at fresh seasons is as good on day 31 as it was on day 1.

Well done Fresh Seasons.
